[Run Beyond Limits]
[Scotty Hingston x Buildcare]
Brisbane to Newcastle | 17 June - 28 June 2026
More than a run. A movement.
On the evening of State of Origin, Scotty Hingston will lace up and step off from Caxton Street, Brisbane — beginning one of the most gruelling and meaningful endurance campaigns this country has seen.
Over 12 consecutive days, Scotty will run the length of the east coast to Newcastle. Every day, Scotty will push through distance and fatigue — sharing stories, creating content, and bringing communities together along the route.
THE JOURNEY - What the road looks like:
17 June — Day 1 Scotty departs Caxton Street, Brisbane, on the night of State of Origin — launching the campaign into the national spotlight.
12 Days of Running Every day, Scotty will push through distance and fatigue — sharing stories, creating content, and bringing communities together along the route.
28 June — Finish Line Newcastle. The finish line isn't just the end of a run — it's the beginning of a movement for awareness, resilience, and real change for every Australian whose life was changed in an instant by a spinal cord injury.
Spinal cord injuries don't give warnings. In a single moment, everything changes — for the person, and for everyone who loves them.
Run Beyond Limits exists to make sure that moment is met with awareness, community, and hope.
Raise awareness for spinal cord injury recovery and the communities it impacts
Inspire conversations about resilience, mental strength, and the human capacity to push past pain
Unite communities across Queensland and New South Wales through shared purpose
Generate lasting fundraising momentum for Buildcare's initiatives and research
Create powerful storytelling that keeps the conversation alive long after the finish line.
