Situated in rolling distance from every amenity available in Mayfield, on a generous flat block, Buildcare are proud to announce the procurement of their first residential property in the Newcastle region - Project One.
In collaboration with Webber Architects, Anthony St John Parsons and Kingston Building, we broke ground in May 2026—demolishing the existing residence to make way for a beautifully designed, fully accessible development comprising two one-bedroom apartment and two spacious two-bedroom apartments, each tailored for independent living. The project will also feature a dedicated overnight studio for carer accommodation and will be equipped with smart home automation and inclusive design throughout.
This residence will provide a stable, safe environment, suitable for a person living with physical disabilities, while generating revenue to be contributed into the critical research towards a cure.

Breaking [Ground]
In May 2026, Project One officially broke ground. The official sod-turning ceremony brought together industry leaders, project partners, sponsors and community representatives to mark the start of construction.
